Prepare Coverage, Materials and Measurements

Prepare vehicle photos, coverage decisions and material preferences before requesting a wrap design or production estimate.

Define coverage in plain language

Identify the panels to cover and the panels to leave exposed. A partial wrap can mean different things to different customers. Record roof, handles and window requirements separately rather than relying on a single percentage.

Use photos to show the real vehicle

Take clear reference images from the requested sides. Show body modifications, existing graphics and unusual surfaces. Condition photos document damage; they do not replace vehicle reference photos or dimensional measurements.

Distinguish estimates from measurements

Vehicle presets and area estimates help scope a job but are not measured manufacturing templates. For trailers, walls or unusual vehicles, prepare the dimensions requested by the form and keep units consistent.

For example, a wall needs its actual height and width and notes about openings. A trailer's nominal length alone does not describe every printable surface.

Choose material preferences without guessing

Separate standard printed film from specialty placements. Identify where window perforation or another specialty material is needed. Availability and final pricing depend on the selected production configuration.

Explain color expectations

Provide original logos and important brand-color references. A screen swatch is a reference, not a print guarantee. Preserve any explicit production color values supplied by your customer instead of deriving new ones from a screenshot.

Before requesting an estimate

Check that the vehicle, units, coverage and photos agree. If you opt out of an estimate for uploaded artwork, expect materials to remain pending. Confirm final specifications before approving production; do not treat an early area estimate as a final manufactured quantity.
